Operation Save Earth
The synopsis of the dramatic Sci-Fi work of Fiction, by Christian Lee Scott
———————–
When the spacecraft ‘Genesis’ disappears above the clouds in 2420, it takes with it the hopes and prayers of all Mankind.
The earth has been ravaged by war, poverty and disease; the planet cannot sustain life for much longer. The Genesis and its brave crew are the very last hope for Mankind; if they cannot find a new planet the species will face certain extinction.
Sixty years pass… Earth begins to realise that something has gone terribly wrong and that the craft – scheduled to return 30 years before – must have changed its course of action, or been destroyed, leaving humanity to their expected fate of slow extinction, or worse still, susceptible to invasion by unfriendly beings.
Indeed, the crew and company of the Genesis had travelled too far out into the ether to return to their homeland.
After finding a habitable planet they quickly established a new civilisation, in the hope of resurrecting the human race in this bright new world.
The 40,000 that had left had increased in number ten-fold, New Earth was born!
Across the galaxy, through the empty darkness, a single radio message, transmitted from the last remaining radio tower on Earth, searches through the cosmos, reaching out to the Genesis, in the vain hope that she is still in one piece and its crew, willing and able to offer them help.
“Calling Genesis, calling Genesis………..this is Earth calling, if you are out there and you get this message we need you, we are under attack………… please come back home we need y………” The transmission ends.
Light years away a museum, which was once Earth’s most advanced space craft, bearing the rusting name ‘Genesis’ on its side, begins to beep…….
With the beep a small light flashes, catching a young girl’s eye as she walks through the ship’s now aged and dusty bridge.
Unable to contain her youthful curiosity, she places her hand upon the lit panel…
When the panel is touched the transmission broadcasts from every deck, every corner and hallway of the old ship.
The hundreds of people aboard the Genesis hear the call for help, the call to arms.
Eyes fill with tears and fists become clenched as the pleading voice repeats the message before a loud explosion ends transmission…
The war being waged by the alien race on Earth is mirrored by the settlers on New Earth, who are divided.
Half wish to return and fight to save their ‘home’ planet, whilst the others wish to stay, where it is peaceful and safe.
Many say that the transmission is merely a ploy, that the Genesis will be hijacked by humans or aliens, or even both, if they return. On both sides of the galaxy wars rage on…
Back on Earth the war is short indeed. Long before, all borders had been done away with and armies disbanded; keeping them had proven too costly, the finite resources of the planet were gone…
There was peace, but no defence against outside threats.
Mankind was enslaved; all who stood against the new owners of Earth were brutally dealt with.
Back on New Earth over 20,000 young men and women hear the call to arms and have no other choice but to answer, despite knowing it will lead to the greatest battle Man has ever seen.
Most think it a one way trip but they have to go now, the urge inside them to protect their own kind is lighting the ancient fire of battle in their hearts. They will fly past the sun, guns blazing!
Can the Genesis defeat the aliens in battle?
More importantly, how will they reach earth in time to help…
…before the human race is reduced to nothing more than a cosmic memory?
Operation: Save Earth…an original epic Sci-Fi novel! Winner takes all in the final battle of Mankind’s history…
